Typical Fund Investment
The Fund’s film investments are typically as follows:
- Funding size ranging from $250,000 to $750,000
- Repayment /take-out in 30-90 days
- Focused on bridge financing (anticipated to be ~90% of deals).
Investment Requirements
The Fund has the following basic requirements to trigger capital for each investment:
- An identified take-out source to repay the Fund’s bridge. Typically this is a lending bank, a distributor advance payment, or a similar funding source.
- A completion bond ready to issue.
- A production schedule and budget that is substantially final.
- One or more deal-runner executives who are running the project for the borrower and have the expertise to get the production commenced on time and on budget.
- Substantially all rights must be pledged to the Fund as security.
